Day 7 - (14 Feb 2012 Final day!)

Today is THE day I’ll be using my cosmetic lenses! Since I’ll be heading out, I decided to prepare myself and pamper myself a bit. These MISAKI cosmetic contact lenses came in my Ambassador’s kit and I’ve been quite excited to try them out!!

Sight is such an important sense. Without your eyes, how else would you be able to soak in the beauty of all that’s around you and take in all the picturesque imagery? I’ve had a really bad eye infection which lasted around 2-3 weeks a couple of years back where I could barely open my eyes because it was so swollen and sore, and it was by far the WORST feeling I’ve ever had to deal with. I even had to skip my cousin’s wedding so as not to pass the infection to others. 

Having compromised my eyesight, I realized how important it is to always practice good eye care precautions to ensure healthy eyes. The eyes are the windows to your soul, so do keep them happy and moist!

With this, I concludes my 7-day AFS challenge. It’s been fun blogging about some eye care issues that us youths usually don’t think too much about. :)

Always ensure the health of your eyes, for you’ll be rewarded with sights truly worth keeping!
